Our work with Moray School Bank began after a successful collaboration with Debbie on her
social enterprise, R-evolution Scotland. Pleased with the results of that project, she
approached us again to look at another organisation she was directing — Moray School
Bank, a charity providing practical support to families in need.
Initially, the request was simple: review their existing website and find ways to make it
more useful. Very quickly, it became clear that one of their greatest needs was a booking
system to manage volunteers more effectively. We implemented a solution using LatePoint
that allowed them to schedule and organise volunteer support for their activities, giving the
team a much clearer structure for day-to-day operations.
As the charity grew, so did the requirements. We expanded the booking system to cover
more than just volunteers, setting up online tools to manage community resources such as:
– A beach hut that could be rented out to raise funds
– A community minibus hired out for local events and services
– A community garden space that required time-slot bookings
We tailored LatePoint to fit the unique mix of charity services and fundraising activities.
Over time, we continued to support Moray School Bank with updates and technical advice,
ensuring the site adapted as their needs evolved.
Most recently, we carried out a full overhaul of the website to modernise the design and
improve usability. What began as a light review ended up becoming a complete refresh of
their online presence, giving the charity a more polished look and a system that felt intuitive
to staff, volunteers, and the wider community.
For Moray School Bank, the website became more than an information page — it developed
into a central tool for running and funding their activities. Our ongoing partnership has
supported them across multiple projects, showing how digital solutions can make a direct
impact in community-focused work.
